At The Golf Dome and Tanglewood Golf Club, we’ve experienced remarkable growth over the past few years—not by accident, but by design. One of the most pivotal decisions we made was investing in PGA Members and Associates. When we first took over operations, there were zero PGA professionals on staff. Today, that number stands at 10 strong, and the impact has been transformational. The experience, credibility, and reputation that PGA Professionals bring has had a tremendous impact on our business.
Since building a team of PGA talent, our revenues have grown significantly. The Golf Dome has risen from $700,000 in annual revenue to well over seven figures. At Tanglewood, under new PGA leadership, rounds have increased from 23,000 to over 32,000 annually—while also boosting customer satisfaction, player development programs, and overall instruction quality. This kind of growth doesn’t happen by accident. It comes from professionalism, consistency, and a deep understanding of what today’s golfer values.
When we hire a PGA Professional, it’s never a simple “1 + 1 = 2” equation—it’s 1 + 1 = 3. They don’t just teach a few lessons or work the counter. They build relationships. They retain current customers through excellent service and attract new students through expert coaching and energy. Whether they’re coaching juniors, fitting equipment, organizing leagues, or simply greeting guests with a warm smile, they elevate the entire experience.
